TCC #2: How I lost my Twitter account and how you can avoid this for yourself

Hi guys
This is going to be a short one as it will simply be a little rant about how I lost my account of over 700+ followers (temporarily) on twitter.
So if this sounds interesting to you, let's dive in
I was still taking my semester tests when I woke up one morning to check my notifications
I couldn't believe what I saw
Turned out that twitter locked me out of my account all because of one thing.
I sent a lot of DMs from last month till the incident.
About 4500+ DMs to be exact.
I raked in a couple of followers and more importantly, clients from this exercise.
I never knew it would backfire this way, leaving me with no other choice but to start up a new account
How To Never Get Into Twitter Jail
To be honest, I really don't know.
But seeing as sending DMs in bulk was what got me into this mess in the first place, DON'T DO IT
But that wasn't the only thing that I probably did to deserve my jail time. Actually, I'll just list them out in bullet points
Sending DMs in bulk (already discussed)
Using one DM template
This second one isn't talked about much so this leaves people vulnerable to "Gurus" who send DM templates to their followers to use.
The best way to send a DM in my experience is to be sincere and straightforward.
Don't use the same "Hi, I'm ____ and I love your stuff" template for everyone
You'll be seen as spam and you might end up like me.
The bottom line is that you need to be a person, not a robot.
Keep that in mind when thinking about sending Cold DMs.
That'll be all for today.
I'll be sending proper newsletters by Sunday so anticipate.
