My Weekly Content Strategy
Understanding the fundamentals of sharing your thoughts in public...

Hey friends, welcome to the 4th chapter of the content chest.
Today, I'm going to be taking you through how to create your own content strategy for twitter and beyond.
So without further ado...
Let's dive in.
Content Creation is a gift...
Many people believe this but still have the problem of coming up with content ideas.
I don't have a step-by-step guide here but I will walk you through how I've been able to put out almost 10,000 tweets in total since I started out on money twitter ( March 2022).
The Walkthrough of My Content Strategy.
1) Ideation.
A novel is full of content
It can be repurposed into a movie (also content)
The script is also content
If it's a cartoon, the voice acting is also content
All from one story
So it's not about getting ideas
But more about how to turn one idea into a bunch of content

I find it hard to believe that in a week, you're unable to come up with over 100 content ideas to put out.
Although, over 70 of these will be repetitions but that shouldn't stop you from noting them down.
I make sure to take notes after each chapter of a book I'm reading.
I take notes after every YouTube video. I take notes after every podcast episode.
There's literally no excuse.
I've been able to digest the fundamentals of business, marketing and money.
Even to the extent that I am able to just sit down and go through so many business concepts and break them down in my head.
As I do this, I'll come up with my own opinions on these concepts and I can call these opinions my own original ideas.
But like I said, most of these will be garbage so after writing them down, do this.
2) Curation.
The best way to put out content?
Write like no one is watching
Then edit when you're done before hitting publish

In this phase, what I do is to select the best drafts based on two criteria:
My beliefs, values and thought process.
My Content Pillars: What I base tweets and newsletters on
If it's not in line with any of these 2, then I will cut them out as fluff.
The best part about this is that you can be as ruthless as you want without someone telling you that you should change this and that.
You get to decide what stays and what goes.
Here's how to do this properly...
Map out your Value Vault (h/t: Syed Huq)
Draw a table of 4 columns namely:
The Information
The Source
Your Stand
Your Opinion
The information.
This is the piece of information that you feel you should really sit with and dissect it.
Its logic is so intriguing (or unclear) that you feel you need to check it out—like checking out a word in a dictionary.
It could be a scientific formula you read about in school. It could be a philosophy about human evolution that you watched on YouTube.
Any piece of information that grabs your attention and makes you want to Learn More should go into this column.
The Source.
Next, You need to state where you got this piece of information from.
Was it from a blog post? Or did your uncle tell you a story about it?
You should always highlight the source so that you can go back for reference later.
Your Stand.
Here, you'll only state if you agree or disagree with the notion.
A very famous celebrity might say "Your success is directly proportional to how much work you put into the hustle", but maybe you don't believe that.
Maybe, you believe that finding leverage and working smart is the key to unlocking wealth.
Just a simple True/False setting will work here.
Your Opinion.
Having made it clear whether you agree or disagree with the initial notion, it's time to actually write out in detail what your opinion is on the matter.
Why do you agree/disagree with the notion?
What do you have that can back up your claim?
Basically, what you want to do is to tell your own side of the story.
Why is this content strategy so important?
I believe that as a person, you must have systems in place to tackle problems.
With a laid out plan for certain situations, you don't need to think twice to have a basic knowledge of what type of solution will be suitable for solving a problem.
This strategy is my own way of tackling problems related to content creation.
Getting ideas
Imposter syndrome
Generic messaging
Like I said, this isn't a step-by-step guide (at least I don't see it that way)
But it will help you create your own content system so you can easily put out content.
